Last Wednesday SEEN attended a lovely event that in many ways epitomises the history and heritage of the great city of London. The Wedding Shop, whom you can visit in Selfridges (another great London institution), Fulham Road, Chelsea and also online, for beautiful and unusual wedding gifts, was showcasing a fun and singular experience on their books.

Eyedoo Pops Up at Marylebone

SEEN popped in at Eyedoo’s pop up to check out their range of spectacles and sunglasses and I must say I was impressed. SEEN loves to bring its readers news of stylish things in the capital and is pleased to say that Eyedoo joins that happy band. SEEN spotted several vintage-looking styles that she’d wear in a heartbeat.

The National Portrait Gallery

The National Portrait Gallery was founded in 1856 with the aim to promote an appreciation and understanding of men and women through portraits. The gallery holds the largest collection of portraits in the world, however, the entire collection is not actually displayed in the London gallery. The collection is exhibited across a number of locations all around the UK, including a number of prestigious houses managed by the National Trust. Much like the National Portrait Gallery on St Martin’s Place, each location provides a special and historic backdrop, perfectly suited to host each collection.
