‘Tono’: English Design + Spanish Brand

The CERSAIE International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishing was held in September in Bologna, Italy. This fair is an important part of the design calendar, as it showcases work by the newest and best designers. ‘Tono’ is an exciting bathroom range designed by Foster + Partners for Porcelanosa, the Spanish ceramic tiles and bathroom equipment brand.

Finsbury Park’s ‘Covered Reservoir’ is the Winner of the 2016 Arcaid Award

SEEN is delighted to announce that Matt Emmett is the overall winner of the Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Award with his stunning – and almost unreal – image ‘Covered Reservoir’, depicting the East London Water Works covered reservoir located under Finsbury Park. The award was announced at the Gala Dinner of the World Architecture Festival in Berlin.

30 St Mary Axe

Walking through the emblematic streets of the City of London, 30 St Mary Axe, better known as the ‘Gherkin’, doesn’t go unnoticed. Cameras of tourists snap perpetually, not wanting to miss a photograph of one of the capital’s most iconic buildings. Despite neighbouring skyscrapers such as the ‘Cheesegrater’ and ‘Walkie-Talkie’, the Gherkin has managed to transform the urban landscape of the City, becoming a perfectly recognisable symbol thanks to its peculiar shape.
