World of Zing Brings Bloody Marys with a Twist to King’s Cross

Over-indulged during the Bank Holiday Weekend? For shame! You probably need a Bloody Mary or two to recover. Enter the World of Zing!

Launched by ‘flavour guru’ Pritesh Mody from a stall at Brockley Market in September 2014, World of Zing has quickly become recognised amongst the UK’s most innovative food & drink businesses. With a background in drinks marketing and hailing from of one of the UK’s oldest and most respected spice merchants, Pritesh was inspired by his incessant need for exciting new food & drink experiences to create a business that fed his hunger.

Here’s a top tip from Pritesh:

“To be totally honest, I’m not a huge fan of regular Bloody Marys. The combination of Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and poor quality tomato juice creates an incredibly acidic and aggressive assault on the senses. Instead, I pick a freshly pressed juice (anything savoury will do, from tomato and beetroot or carrot), balance it with a richly textured hot sauce and add a premium vodka like Ketel One. This will result in a cocktail that’s bright, refreshing and something you will actually enjoy drinking!” SEEN could not agree more…

This Summer, Ketel One Vodka and World of Zing have teamed up to offer Londoners the chance to create their ultimate Bloody Mary. The series of pop-ups, that ran throughout the summer will still be going strong in September at Canopy Market, King’s Cross, and aim to elevate the classic Bloody Mary from the Tabasco, Worcestershire Sauce and standard tomato juice concoction to create something with a bit more Zing.

Visitors to the stand will be able to choose from a selection of hot sauces such as Pineapple & Habanero and Chipotle & Pasilla flavoured salts including Sriracha Chill and Smoked Chilli as well as tomato, beetroot, carrot juices to be paired with their Ketel One Vodka. Following which, the experts on hand will create your delicious, bespoke Bloody Mary.

Also available to purchase will be the Ultimate Bloody Mary Kits (RRP £15), which feature a recipe card, a Ketel One Vodka tea towel and 2x Ketel One Vodka miniatures plus two World of Zing sauces and a pot of flavoured salt. The perfect way to recreate your creation at home. Cheers!
