Tate Modern introduces Wild Pizzas to its Riverside Summer Terrace

As if you needed another reason to visit Tate Modern. SEEN needs no second bidding and will be checking out the delicious-sounding Wild Pizza at the earliest opportunity…

Thursday 23rd of August officially marks the final weeks of summer (one month till the Autumnal Equinox!) and the best way to indulge in the last of the summer sun is by enjoying a beer-matched foraged pizza from the new Wild Pizza pop-up, the latest edition to join Tate Modern’s riverside Summer Terrace.

To feature alongside Wild Beer Co’s eclectic range of craft beer, an indulgent pizza menu has now been developed by Tate Executive Chef Chris Dines, with a focus on foraged ingredients. The menu includes the Nebula pizza which features fresh torpedino tomatoes, fior di latta and basil, and the Bibble pizza: an unbeatable combination of girolles, thyme and fior di latte. All pizzas are made with fresh hand-stretched dough and stone baked to order in a purpose-built pizza oven.

The diverse range of pizzas has been created to complement the unique flavours of Wild Beer Co’s craft beer. The summer terrace features ten taps of Wild craft beer, including Shika, their new dry hopped lager; Breakfast Of Champignons 2018, an ode the chanterelle mushroom; and the spicy sourness of Tom Yum Gose. Non-alcoholic soft drinks are also available. On every Monday–Thursday, and Sunday from 12.00–17.30. Every Friday–Saturday from 12.00–21.30, until 30 September 2018.
