Jacket Required Presents Kill Me Now

Stop what you’re doing and check out what’s going on at Old Truman Brewery tomorrow, art lovers. Pop Artist and Psychedelic Illustrator Luke McLean continues to evolve as a creative force. With work featured on everything from album sleeves, to fashion, homeware and even beer bottles – McLean has amassed a diverse range of international clients over the past 20 years across the music, film and fashion industries – including collaborations with a variety of bands, brands and labels such as U2, Supergrass, Motorhead, Shakespears Sister, The Horrors, Andrew Weatherall, Red Bull, Wrangler, You Must Create and London Fields Brew¬ery.

Pure Evil

Embracing pop art, psychedelic gig posters and graffiti alongside the odd, the everyday and the sometimes surreal – McLean’s personal work spans limited edition prints and canvases. His playful, visual language and image-making continues to innovate and surprise. Gaining an increasing level of recognition within the worlds of art and fashion, this year saw the opening of his own gallery space in Margate, Kent.

Le Gun
Embracing his enthusiasm, curiosity and keen eye for detail, this season Jacket Required partners with Luke McLean, owner of Kill Me Now gallery, to present a collection of his own works along with locally and globally sourced pieces from artists such as Hayden Kays, Le Gun, David Shillinglaw, Babak Ganjei, Pure Evil, Linocutboy, Will Sweeney and Heretic Spectral Nation.

In a dedicated exhibition space accessed from 4 Dray Walk, The Old Truman Brewery – the selection of prints, canvasses, t-shirts and ceramics will be on show to both buyers and the public during the Jacket Required July 2018 dateline, with all artwork available for purchase.
