Moonshine Saloon: Seen reviews a rootin’ tootin’ immersive experience

Yes, SEEN is baaaack… We were hacked! We certainly had the pleasure of attending the launch night of Moonshine Saloon – an immersive theatrical and cocktail experience at the other end of the King’s Road. But fear not – it’s worth the hike. It’s huge fun, requiring you to dress up and revel in the sheer theatre of it all. SEEN had the great good fortune to be sitting at a table of actors, who could not be restrained from interacting with the sheriff, the town tailor, the card-sharps and the bartenders who kept up a steady stream of very moreish drinks that went down only too easily.

The brainchild of the good people behind Alcotraz, it’s a BYOB bar where the cowpokes bring the booze and the bartenders create their delicious tipples. Clad in your hat, shirt and neckerchief, you are encouraged to witness the arguments, play along with the tricks, visit the moonshine still and banter with the saloon gals. Heck – you can even carry on drinking in the Genreral Store upstairs…
