‘Twas the Week Before Christmas 2: Mister Lasagna

SEEN was highly relieved to get off bustling Shaftesbury Avenue and onto Rupert Street, there to visit Mister Lasagna. They are purveyors of all different kinds of lasagna and cannoli, not to mention an array of fabulous fresh salads to eat in or takeaway. They will even deliver to your office for your office party. They are another fixture with the lunchtime Soho scene. SEEN had two varieties of veggie lasagna: one spinach and the other aubergine. They were both delicious. Two sweet cannoli nearly finished SEEN off but somehow she struggled through.

It being the early afternoon, SEEN did not indulge in wine or beer and drank orange juice with the meal. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the dining room one of those funny little underground spaces which abound in Soho. Once you’re in there, however, you forget that you’re in London. Two branches are set to open in South Korea and more branches are planned for the City. Great fun.
