The World’s Best Martini Challenge Comes to the Oslo Hackney

Two of SEEN’s favourite things in 2017: martinis and the Oslo Hackney will come together in the New Year. Well, we need something to lift our spirits (pun intended) out of the January blues, right?

Following on from the success of last year, the World’s Best Martini Challenge is returning to London. Tickets are now on sale for its exciting finale on Thursday 18th January from 6:30pm – 11pm at Oslo in Hackney.

With early bird tickets priced at £15 per person, don’t miss this exciting opportunity to meet gin-makers, sample martinis from each contender gin and ultimately vote for your favourite.

Featuring five new finalists, last year’s winner, three judges, the UK’s finest bartenders and a lot of gin, the event will be a chance for drinks connoisseurs, gin lovers and spirited enthusiasts to decide who should win The World’s Best Martini of 2018.

After a year of travel and discovery, co-founders Gary Sharp and James Thomas have narrowed down the gin finalists. The night will see the final five ‘Contender’ gins go before a panel of independent judges, including Anna Sebastian, Manager of Artesian Bar at The Langham, Rich Hunt, owner of Mint Gun Club (another SEEN fave!), and Mark Ludmon, editor of Bar Magazine.

Get your early-bird tickets for every gin-lover’s favourite event.

She started off in the seventies when jewellery didn’t have the profile it has now, so in that sense she was very much a pioneer. She hung out with the cool musicians of the …
