Olami Still to Release Debut EP: ‘Guide Me Out’

SEEN has been enjoying ‘Cash’ (Feat. Not3s) by the ridiculously young and talented Olami Still.

The UK-based Hip Hop/Rap artist, Olami Still is set to release his debut EP (via all major digital outlets) on the 26th of May 2017. The ‘Guide Me Out’ EP, available to pre-order via iTunes & Google Play is a five-track package and includes the eponymously titled tune, featuring Taite Imogen, last year’s big hit, ‘Glide’ and the lead single, ‘Cash’, which has just run as an exclusive on GRM Daily and has had over 110,000 views on YouTube.

Olami Still first came into the public’s consciousness in October 2015 with the release of his debut single ‘Call On Me’ which featured on Charlie Sloth’s weekly segment ‘Gas Or Trash’ Record of the Week on BBC 1XTRA. His third single release, ‘Hater’, produced by WildBoyAce, saw him reach an ever growing fan base by peaking at No.39 on iTunes store (Hip Hop/Rap) charts and featured on MOBO Award’s ‘The Connect’ playlist.

A truly outstanding prospect, the nineteen-year-old rapper has since found further support at both regional and national stations such as BBC Radio, New Style Radio, Rinse FM, The Beat London FM, Radar Radio and Reprezent Radio.

Olami Still, who has performed at events that have also featured the likes of Stormzy, Bonkaz, Mo Stack, Kojo Funds and Yxng Bane, is set to announce new live dates for the Summer.

Ladies of the Press at Sluice Biennial

SEEN headed up to Hackney recently, there to peruse this year’s Sluice Biennial. The Castle at the Space: SEEN Reviews

SEEN was not that familiar with the work of Howard Barker prior to seeing ‘The Castle’ but feels she must rectify that situation. A powerful piece on the nature of masculinity, war, gender roles and the essential unreliability of religious faith, ‘The Castle’ benefits from a powerhouse cast and a stripped-back set, making the most of the Space’s environment.
