Eyedoo Pops Up at Marylebone

SEEN popped in at Eyedoo’s pop up to check out their range of spectacles and sunglasses and I must say I was impressed. SEEN loves to bring its readers news of stylish things in the capital and is pleased to say that Eyedoo joins that happy band. SEEN spotted several vintage-looking styles that she’d wear in a heartbeat. The colours are great too; from bright colour pops to vintage-style tortoiseshell. Prices start from £49 for the spectacles and £79 for a range of very cool sunglasses with polarised lenses.

Eyedoo told SEEN that feedback from customers has been very positive on Twitter, with the prices meaning that customers come away with multiple pairs. The lenses range from +3 to – 8 and customers rarely have to wait more than three days for the delivery of their purchase. Sadly, SEEN’s complex prescription being rather complicated meant that she couldn’t take advantage of Eyedoo’s service but she was rather taken with circular pairs and anything with cats’ eyes gets her vote. They’re present in Marylebone Station until Thursday. SEEN recommends.

Bufle: Launch of the Bubble-Waffle

SEEN has heard much of the phenomenon of the Asian Bubble-Waffle and thus was very keen to sample this Hong Kong import for herself. My guest and I found ourselves in a bright, buzzy bar/café with tables and plenty of counters and high stools. It’s in Rupert Street, between Soho and busy Leicester Square.

SEEN has been a huge fan of Arthur Hooper’s since their May opening. It’s handily located close to Borough Market (where much of their ingredients are sourced), so it is with great delight that we hear weekend brunches are now on the menu too.

Adam Prince King’s New Single

SEEN has been enjoying the latest offering from London native and lyrical pop artist Adam Prince King, who has announced the release of his new single ‘Before The Sun Goes Down’. The single is the follow-up to his debut hit ‘Flamingos’, which went viral upon its release in 2016.

Arclinea and B&B Italia at the London Design Festival 2017

SEEN keenly anticipates this year’s London Design Festival, taking place from 16th – 24th September. Not least because B&B Italia will launch their partnership with Arclinea high-end designer kitchens. The brand will also celebrate the UK debut of its 2017 collections, including the 20th anniversary edition of the iconic Charles seating system; all to be revealed with a new look for its B&B Italia London store on Brompton Road.
