Focus LDN: Spring Comes to the Menier

Regular readers of SEEN will know how much we admire the art curated (and indeed practised) by its founder Tom Cox. Hot on the heels of two previous exhibitions comes this Spring showcase, on at the Menier from 28th February to 4th March, 2017.

An exciting roster of artists (including famous Instagrammer @Levanterman) bring a diverse practice to the attention of collectors and art lovers alike. SEEN is particularly looking forward to the ‘Royal Blood’ collection by Ernesto Romano – an x-ray series of the Queen’s head, overlaid with glitter and in various colours, and the stunning Turneresque ‘Sun Guide Me Home’ by David Taylor. Tom Cox’s ‘Angry Night, Elephant and Castle Station’ perfectly captures the atmosphere of that location.

O’Brien spent four months living …
