“Beauty and The Beast”: Emma Watson Brings Beauty to Life

SEEN can’t wait until 17th March, the date when the beautiful fantasy musical film “Beauty and The Beast”, directed by Bill Condon and starring Emma Watson, opens in cinemas. This live-action remake of Disney’s 1991 animated film (itself an adaptation of Leprince de Beaumont’s fairy tale), refashions the classic characters (as old as time) for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.

“Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a fearsome beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realise the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

The film cast includes Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci and Ian McKellen.
