Focus LDN at Menier Gallery

SEEN has always been a huge supporter of up-and-coming artists and makers in London. There’s nowhere better to see the cream of talent in our fair city than at Focus LDN’s latest venture at Menier Gallery in London Bridge.

Twenty-eight individual artists will be showcasing their work, all of which is for sale: paintings, photography, embroidery… Their group show is the perfect opportunity to buy a unique present for someone, or to add to your own collection. The show will be open until tomorrow.

From the digital collage of Jamie Twyman to the visual music of Jeremy Burns; The arresting digital tribal embroidery of Laura Marriott to the dizzying collages of Monika Bulanda, this is an outstanding exhibition proving, once again, Focus LDN’s integrity in the selection of work.

Sagardi: Pleasures of the Flesh

SEEN was reminded of what a privilege it is to meet chefs and butchers who are truly passionate and single-minded about the food they prepare and cook. Thus it was at Sagardi in Shoreditch, where the ravenous foodie press was assembled earlier this week, to witness the butchery of, and subsequent cooking over a splendid barbecue grill, of a side of ox.
