Kate Moss Is in the Building: Reinventing Elvis

Kate Moss stars in a new video version of ‘The Wonder of You’, with the unmistakable voice of Elvis Presley and a new arrangement. The beautiful fashion model croons the ballad, posing and wearing outfits inspired by four of the King’s most iconic looks; such as a black leather jumpsuit inspired by the outfit Presley wore at his 1968 comeback TV special.

This is not the first time that Kate Moss has acted as a video star. She was a beautiful corpse in Johnny Cash’s ‘Delia’s Gone’; she has also collaborated with Elton John, Marianne Faithfull, and Paul McCartney.

The film, directed by Vaughan Arnell, was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London with acclaimed producers Don Reedman and Nick Patrick. The album features the King’s most dramatic original performances, augmented with lush new arrangements performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
