Put 40 Colours in your Life

40 Colori's first and only shop opened in August 2015, in the multi-cultural and fashionable neighborhood of Shoreditch, down small, unassuming Cheshire Street. You could say they're still the new kids on the block, who absolutely love the energy of this neighbourhood. The official online shop and website were launched in May 2015, but things really started to take off for them as a brand, when they opened the doors to their Shoreditch premises, bringing their product directly to the customer.

40 Colori has everything; from ties to socks, bow ties to belts, wallets to braces, pocket squares to neckerchiefs, and even scarves. The collection ensures that a gentleman can find everything he needs to accentuate his dapper outfit, in one convenient and friendly place.

If we had to choose a few favourites, it would have to be their socks, belts and, particularly, their spectacular bow ties. 40 Colori neck accessories are a large part of their business, as the founders’ family owned a factory in Lake Como, Italy, in the heart of the internationally famous silk industry. Combine this history with their 50-plus years of neck accessory craftsmanship know-how, and it’s easy to see why they make spectacular bow ties and ties. Many Londoners refer to 40 Colori as ‘the bow tie shop’ in London, as they always have something for those looking for something different in the world of bow ties.

The socks are fun, loud and bold – undeniably eye-catching, which customers absolutely love! They had such great feedback on their men’s socks that they actually created a line of women’s socks. No one’s left out at 40 Colori!

Their handsome belts are all crafted from genuine Italian leather in an array of vivid colours, making a fashion statement accessory that many stylish gentlemen may have been seeking for years, and now can finally find here.

The shop is as stunning as their products. Imagine a Sapeur’s flamboyant dressing room combined with eco-friendliness and exquisite attention to detail. It’s bright, beautiful, and impossible to miss when you walk by, as the vivid blue shop front grabs your attention. Inside, there is a balanced harmony of prints and colours on display. Customised cardboard furniture introduces one side of their very important ethos as a brand; which is to find new and effective ways to become eco-friendly in all aspects of their business. You can open and explore each one of the wardrobes, with hidden drawers underneath. These are full of amazing products to enchant the eye.

40 Colori Product Close Up

40 Colori’s style could be defined as a bold re-visioning of dapper classics. The simple pleasure of superb quality and craftsmanship in men’s accessories ensures that they will never be out of style. A bow tie is not a new piece of fashion, but 40 Colori has put a modern twist on the this classic accessory in a multitude of bright and bold colours, as the fashionable gentleman of today doesn’t want to blend in, he wants to stand out.

The top three picks from their collections are the Trento Genuine Leather Belt (£55, available in 10 colours), Washed Mogador and Leather Wallet (£89, available in 15 colours) and the Leaf & Branch Printed Silk Tie and Bow Tie (£36 and £39, available in 5 colours). These products have been top sellers for very good reasons; the Trento belt has simple suede detailing, making for a very dapper belt, enhancing any formal or casual outfit. The Washed Mogador and Leather Wallet is a beauty, there’s just no other way to put it. The Washed Mogador exterior is extremely soft to the touch and it slides extremely smoothly in and out of one’s pocket. The interior leather is exquisite, with a multitude of card spaces, and even a coin pocket! Lastly, the Leaves and Branch tie and bow tie are a fun print collection of bold and reserved colour combinations, so that whatever his taste, every gentleman can accessorise his outfit to its best advantage.
