Details of the menu – a seven-course vegetarian meal – are not fully known yet. What we do know is that Adam is passionate about using the best quality produce, drawing on inspiration from his global travels to create British dishes with an original twist. On this occasion, he has already pickled and preserved a few top quality ingredients, including Hen of the Woods mushrooms and Seablite capers. But the final ingredients of their menu creation will be kept a surprise until Friday.

Adam and Anton themselves will go out and explore the British marshes and forest, hand-picking the seasonal delights that will make up their tasting menu, such as wild mushrooms; wet walnuts; geisha quince; wood sorrel; rosehips; and nasturtium, alongside baby seaweed; sea beets; and other wonders from the waters. To give diners a sneak preview of what’s in store at this exclusive seasonal supper, their discoveries will be documented on their Instagram accounts, during their expedition.

Tickets should be booked in advance, via Grub Club.

Sculpture in the City, Art for Everyone

SEEN thoroughly enjoyed a preview of the 18 new artworks around the financial district’s square mile. Set up by The City of London in 2010, this excellent initiative expands its footprint every year, improving the area and proving that when people are happy, they work better.

Alex Evans at the Foundry Gallery, Chelsea Quarter: LDF17

The astute reader will have noticed that SEEN loves art about London. There are many artists in this city who draw (pun intended) their inspiration from it, none more so than Alex Evans whose fractal renderings hint at the entropic nature of urban life and perhaps also our anxieties and isolation in the 21st century. His latest exhibition ‘Invisible Systems’ can be seen at the Foundry Gallery, tucked away off the King’s Road until 26th October.
