SEEN hears that popular independent pub The King & Co will host the launch of Little Creatures Pale Ale, on draught, this Thursday 3rd November, offering free samplings of the iconic Australian craft beer from 7pm onwards.

The King & Co has been handpicked as the only venue in Clapham, and one of only a few places in South London, to help launch Little Creatures much-loved Pale Ale in keg, into the UK market.

SEEN also hears that the pub’s first kitchen resident Donostia Social Club will be making a welcome return to The King & Co today, serving their infamous Basque-inspired tapas daily, until New Year’s Eve.

During December, Donostia Social Club’s popup will also offer a special four course Basque-inspired Christmas menu and pintxos party platters, available for groups of 6 or more to pre-order.

The courses include a Basque Charcuterie board; Seared scallops with Carrot Purée and Crisp Pancetta; Piquillo Peppers with wild Mushroom Mousse, and desserts include Mulled Rioja Poached Pears. Finish off your feast with a glass of PX Sherry for £4. Vegetarians and pescetarians are also well catered for. The Christmas menu is available from Monday 28th November until Saturday 24th December.
