‘Tono’ is the bold answer to a big, ambitious deal between the Spanish brand and the English design studio, which is based in London. This collaboration has created an extraordinary collection, which displays more than 100 impressive and coordinated pieces, using materials like KRION®, stone, ceramic, timber and brassware. In addition, there’s a substantial palette of color tones. Porcelanosa and Foster + Partners have used many combinations of material and colour tones to create mirrors, integrated timber storage units and benches, bidets, baths, showers, sinks and WCs. The resulting rooms are calm, elegant and sumptuous.

Every single piece has been created according to the partnership’s ethos: “honesty of material, simplicity of form and the craft of manufacture”. As a result of this, the ‘Tono’ collection can be used everywhere, from commercial luxury interiors to a private residential house.

Foster + Partners and Porcelanosa trialled their products extensively before producing their range, because they wanted to create a quality collection with efficiency. Each piece has been designed to mix and match with other pieces, creating a signature look. Furthermore, all the design details have been carefully thought out, and some technological innovations were added to create a set of components, that work well together as a fully integrated system.
