Telegram’s New Single ‘You Said You Saw us’ to be released soon

To coincide with a short UK Tour, London rockers TELEGRAM are set to release a brand new single on the 4th of November 2016. Recorded in London with producer Andy Savours, ‘You Said You Saw Us’ is the first new material since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Operator’ in February this year, and is set to be their finest moment yet. A truly rocking statement of intent, the new single will be available at all major outlets and will also come as part of a special digital edition of the album.

The TELEGRAM line-up of Matt Saunders (vocals/guitar), Oli Paget-Moon (bass), Jordan Cook (drums) and Pip Stakem (guitar) will set off on a short string of UK shows with hotly tipped South London outfit Phobophobes in support. The week long tour kicks off in Leeds at the Brudenell Social Club on Thursday the 27th of October and finishes up with a London show at The Boston Music Rooms on Thursday 3rd of November.

TELEGRAM effortlessly channel their love of Roxy, Barrett, krautrock and late proto-punk to great effect. They’ve built up a fanbase of critics and public alike with extensive touring in the UK, Europe and America since the release of their debut single ‘Follow’ at the end of 2013. After confirming their early promise as one of the most exciting new bands to emerge in a long time, they’ve now cemented their place as one of the finest guitar-based bands in the country.

Sculpture in the City, Art for Everyone

SEEN thoroughly enjoyed a preview of the 18 new artworks around the financial district’s square mile. Set up by The City of London in 2010, this excellent initiative expands its footprint every year, improving the area and proving that when people are happy, they work better.

Alex Evans at the Foundry Gallery, Chelsea Quarter: LDF17

The astute reader will have noticed that SEEN loves art about London. There are many artists in this city who draw (pun intended) their inspiration from it, none more so than Alex Evans whose fractal renderings hint at the entropic nature of urban life and perhaps also our anxieties and isolation in the 21st century. His latest exhibition ‘Invisible Systems’ can be seen at the Foundry Gallery, tucked away off the King’s Road until 26th October.
