UK creatives Idle Motion will be presenting a fascinating new devised work, ‘Voyager’, at the New Diorama Theatre from 24th May – 11th June 2016.

‘Voyager’ interweaves the stories of the spacecraft Voyager, launched in 1977, and Carrie, born at the same time. Forty years later, the spacecraft and its time capsule cargo are 12 billion miles from earth, poised to leave our solar system. This event triggers a yearning for space travel in Carrie. She is seized with the desire to travel to Mars on a one-way mission. The acclaimed Idle Motion company ambitiously tackles themes of space exploration and the ethical dilemmas this provokes. ‘Voyager’ promises to be an inspiring and innovative event with Idle Motion’s trademark multimedia staging, transforming the stage at New Diorama into our own solar system.
