In 2012, she founded her flagship atelier on at 6, Brook Street, in London’s prestigious Mayfair district, and on 6th April 2016, she became the first female tailor to open a shop on Savile Row; the street for bespoke tailoring.

But this is not the first time she’s made history. She was a rising star during her fifteen-year career at 1, Savile Row, home to Gieves & Hawkes. There, Kathryn rose to the position of Head Cutter, the first woman to do so in the entire history of Savile Row, the cradle of the traditionally male-dominated and perfectionist world of true luxury bespoke outfitting. Today, she travels the world creating expertly-crafted pieces for ladies and gentlemen.

The public will have their great chance to examine her finest bespoke tailoring at her new boutique’s open house on Friday 6th May from 10am until 5pm, during London Craft Week. For those that want to experience the magic of true creativity and see for themselves what real quality means, paying her a visit is a definite must.

How fortunate are the residents of Islington? Just a step away from the bustle of the Caledonian Road is the leafy idyll of Hemingford Road and the N1 Cuckoo Gastro-hub. Hard to believe that this little slice of the country resides at the heart of the big bad city.
